At EDS Casting & Forging, quality is embedded in every step of the process—from technical specification to final delivery. Although EDS does not operate as a manufacturer, we work exclusively with production partners who are ISO 9001 certified or operate under internationally recognized quality systems.
Each project is supported by engineering documentation, material traceability, and dimensional control. We monitor our partners closely to ensure they comply with stringent quality requirements, including audits, test reports, and pre-shipment inspections.
EDS selects suppliers based on strict criteria, including material expertise, certification status, inspection capabilities, and delivery history. Our core supply chain includes foundries and forging houses in Europe and Asia—each assessed regularly for technical performance and risk mitigation.
All components supplied by EDS are visually and dimensionally inspected prior to shipment. We work closely with our partners to validate measurement tools, quality control procedures, and visual standards.
Depending on the part’s complexity and function, additional testing such as hardness (Brinell/Rockwell), material composition (spectrometer), and NDT (non-destructive testing) can be arranged upon request.

Our engineering and logistics teams continuously monitor quality indicators such as defect rates, returns, feedback, and cost-of-non-quality. If issues arise, we initiate a structured root cause analysis with our partner and implement immediate corrective actions.
Our approach is collaborative and data-driven, designed to eliminate repeat issues and improve overall system performance.
While EDS does not manufacture the parts, we assume full commercial responsibility for the quality and conformity of all components delivered. Our warranty terms are project-specific and clearly stated in our General Terms & Conditions.
In case of non-conformance, our team will support immediate resolution, including rework, replacement, or reimbursement as agreed.
